Kathryn Dennis was arrested on Monday night on the suspicion of DUI.
Just days after her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Ravenel, 61, accused her of skipping out on a Mother’s Day visit with their kids, daughter Kensington, 10, and son Saint Julien, 8, the 32-year-old Southern Charm alum was accused of driving under the influence in Goose Creek, South Carolina, where she was reportedly involved in a three-car collision.
In court documents obtained by TMZ on May 20, a responding officer said Kathryn appeared impaired with “glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her person.”
It was also noted that Kathryn allegedly had an open container in her vehicle at the time of her arrest.
As Southern Charm fans will recall, Kathryn was also tied to an accident in November of last year, although she was never arrested for her supposed crime. At the time, she was simply named as a suspect in a hit-and-run that occurred at an elementary school.
On Sunday, just one day before her arrest, Kathryn shared a series of happy photos of herself with her son at a football game.
“When your kiddo nails a touchdown and busts out the Madden victory dance. Proud mom with my little champ and his biggest fans,” she captioned the May 19 post.
Following a past bout with alleged addiction issues, along with a positive drug test and a stint in rehab, Kathryn lost custody of her children, who now live full-time with their father, in 2023. Since then, Thomas has accused Kathryn of failing to see the kids on a number of occasions while she has accused him of parental alienation.
Kathryn Dennis appeared on the first eight seasons of Southern Charm before announcing her departure from the Bravo series in January 2023.
