Katie Maloney said she’s “not surpris[ed]” that Lisa Vanderpump allegedly called Ally Lewber and blamed her for James Kennedy’s actions. The Vanderpump Rules alum also suggested that Lisa made her divorce with Tom Schwartz “about her[self],” and she showed more “favoritism” to male stars on the show.

In a recent interview, Ally shared that Lisa called her after her ex-boyfriend James was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence. Ally claimed that Lisa pointed out how Ally was also drinking during the argument, and she purportedly tried to convince Ally to stay with him.

On the Viall Files podcast, Katie claimed that Lisa’s alleged phone call with Ally is “not surprising.”

“I fully believe that [happened],” said Katie, who agreed with host Nick Viall‘s assertion that her motive for the call was to blame Ally for James’ actions.

“It’s like when Tom and I were divorcing, like, she made me feel like I wasn’t justified or valid in my reasons,” said Katie, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “And then also [she] kind of made it about her, ’cause she’s like, ‘I wrote those vows.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay…’ Like [she’s] constantly wanting to be acknowledged for the generous things that she’s done in life. But, like, often and unwavering.”

According to Katie, she hasn’t heard a “peep” from Lisa since she and Ariana Madix opened their Something About Her sandwich shop.

“No, like, congrats. No nothing,” she said, via @vanderpumprulesparty on Instagram. “So when she wanted to be upset … that certain people didn’t reach out when the news of the [show’s recasting] came out, I was like, ‘I didn’t hear from you either. I know that you were asking [producer] Alex Baskin what all of us were thinking and saying on our phone calls with him.’ But, like, she didn’t want to pick up the phone.”

Katie hinted that Lisa showed more “favoritism” to male castmates.

“I think that the major divide that happened with everybody was like, you know, post-Scandoval,” she recalled. “She really wanted to look out for [Tom Sandoval] and kind of just disregarded how that would make other people feel.”
