Former Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel has just ignited another firestorm — and this time, he’s coming for Kathryn Dennis with everything he’s got.
In a scathing new statement posted to social media and quickly deleted — but not before screenshots went viral — Ravenel accused his ex of “weaponizing motherhood” while neglecting her actual role as a mother. His claims come just weeks after Kathryn publicly sobbed over feeling “cut out” of her children’s lives, calling herself a victim of parental alienation.
Thomas wasn’t having it.
“You can’t scream about being ‘alienated’ from your children, then SKIP Mother’s Day. That’s not parenting — that’s performance,” he wrote.
“My Kids Waited. She Never Showed.”
According to Ravenel, their children — Kensington and Saint — spent Mother’s Day hoping to see their mom, but Kathryn never arrived.
“I watched them check the driveway. Over and over. And then I watched their faces fall,” he said. “She didn’t call. She didn’t text. She just disappeared — again.”
The former politician didn’t stop there. He accused Kathryn of prioritizing image over action, saying:
“She wants sympathy, not accountability. She posts sad quotes, but won’t pick up the phone for her own kids. That’s not a mother being silenced — that’s a mother opting out.”
A History of Hurt
The fallout between Kathryn and Thomas has played out publicly for years — custody battles, accusations, court orders, rehab rumors, and more. Kathryn’s emotional plea in April painted her as a mother fighting to stay in her children’s lives.
But Thomas now claims the reality is very different.
“This isn’t about a system failing her. It’s about her failing them,” he stated. “And every time she chooses herself, they pay the price.”
Southern Charm Silence
Neither Bravo nor Kathryn has responded publicly to the post — but sources close to the situation say tensions are at an all-time high. Kathryn, who was recently rumored to be struggling financially after leaving Southern Charm, has not posted about her children in weeks.
Thomas’s final words?
“I’ve made mistakes. So has she. But only one of us shows up every day — not just when the cameras are rolling.”
