‘Teen Mom’ Star Shares What She Has Accomplished While Going Through IVF

“Teen Mom” star Mackenzie McKee is sharing her 2024 accomplishments with her fans.

In a January 1 Instagram upload, McKee shared several pictures of herself, her friends, and her family taken throughout 2024.

In the caption of the post, she told her social media followers that sometimes she feels as though she “didn’t accomplish enough in the year.” She said, however, after looking “at photos,” she realized she did quite a bit in 2024. For instance, she noted she “ran the Disney Dopey Challenge, hosted several Fitness events for the public, opened [her] BodybyMac space, created two new workout programs, [and] started a cheer gym with [her] friend.”

In addition, she noted that she and her fiance, Khesanio Hall, got engaged in May 2024. She also said she traveled with her children, Gannon, 13, Jaxie, 10, and Broncs, 7, fathered by her ex-husband, Josh McKee.

McKee then reminded her fans that she decided to undergo IVF (in vitro fertilization) in 2024 to have a child with Hall.

“ALL while going through IVF which was extremely challenging! I’m going to bed tonight giving myself alot of love and grace for everything I’ve accomplished in 2024. I’m so excited to bring on 2025 and all the blessings coming my way. Thank you Lord 🙏 #happynewyear #2024,” wrote McKee.

Mackenzie McKee Allowed Cameras to Capture Her Speaking to Her Doctor

People magazine reported that McKee explained why she decided to go through IVF in “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” season 2, which aired in 2024. While speaking to her doctor, McKee discussed possibly reversing her tubal ligation, which she underwent after the birth of her youngest child. Her doctor said that “there’s a 15 to 20% success rate,” given that “nothing is wrong,” that individuals who undergo the reversal would be able to conceive.

McKee’s doctor then stated that “IVF (in vitro fertilization) pregnancy rates are around 65 to 70%.” The doctor also addressed that McKee is a type 1 diabetic.

“The only thing that we require for getting pregnant with type 1, diabetes is having that A1C number at a 6.5. We are very strict on where we’re at with that number in terms of getting you pregnant,” said McKee’s doctor during the “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” season 2 episode.
