It's the lone game to be played on a Friday evening. That alone is strange. The audience won't see Carrie Underwood performing the opening theme song, but the NFL took care of us. We get a Super Bowl-level halftime show, one that will feature Brazilian pop star Anitta.
Brazil is ready for football. They've waited all summer for it. We won't have to wait too much longer for the game, but even though this is the first NFL contest to be played in such a beautiful country, many miles away, the backdrop for a clash between two proud franchises is settling into its pep rally.
